BFI London Film Festival 2010

As reported here earlier, Gabriel Byrne served on the Best Film jury, which was chaired by Patricia Clarkson. The awards were handed out on October 27.

The award for Best Film was presented to director Alexei Popogrebsky for How I Ended This Summer by the jury chair Patricia Clarkson, who said: “Alexei Popogrebsky has combined stunning cinematography with painterly attention to production detail and drawn intense and subtle performances from actors Grigory Dobrygin and Sergei Puskepalis.”
