Gabriel can manage all kind of roles.
He is a very talented actor.
Hope he wins this award!
Well done Mr Byrne! He really deserves to win this.
Gabriel Byrne deserves to win this this award. He is the finest actor Ireland has ever seen.
God help the IFTA if he doesn’t win. I’ll have to get real on their asses.
No words can describe how bad I feel for Mr. Byrne. It’s just not fair. He’s so gifted and knows his craft so well. I’m so bummed. And please no platitudes about there being next year. :{(
Well, Kim, the platitude I have is that he *has* been recognized by IFTA in the past and he won the Golden Globe for his role in “In Treatment.” And, as you know, Mr. Byrne does not seem to be that interested in awards. He is committed to his craft and will continue to bring us intriguing and wonderful portrayals in the future. He is a big winner in our hearts! All that being said, I’m kinda bummed, too. But Onwards and Upwards!
So when does I,Anna get a nod? Next year?
I don’t know what kind of awards recognition “I, Anna” might receive. We will have to wait and see!
I am waiting for the DVD so I can watch it!
