This happened faster than I thought it would, but here we go!

A new theme has been implemented on the site.

This new theme is “responsive,” meaning it looks good on a regular desktop screen, on a tablet screen, and on a cellphone screen. Give it a try on different devices and see what you think!

The new theme is cleaner, with larger text and larger images.

I have created a bunch of NEW pages that are empty (under TV and Stage mostly) but I’ll be filling them up shortly.

The amazing  Nenad, web developer magician, has been working on implementing this new theme and he has done a great job!

He and I are still tweaking things, but all of the usual content (postings and pages) are in place, so you can navigate the site as you usually do.

Let me know if you see anything that is not working  as you investigate the new theme. Nenad is changing some elements right now, so you might wait a day or two before alerting me.

THANKS for your patience as I work to improve Byrneholics!

Well, oh my. This will take some getting use to. I liked the background color on the old page. But I guess I’ll just have to adjust.

    • Yes, Kim. That new site was just too WHITE. So we added the background color again. Good suggestion!

Otherwise, the site is mostly the same: same postings, same pages, same widgets in the sidebar. But a much better font and now it works on all devices. Yay!

  2. Stella,

The new design is fabulous! So easy to read on the Ipad. Miss your tag line though…”just a little intoxicated by Gabriel Byrne” set just the right tone of humour.

    • Added the tagline. Forgot about it! Thanks for the reminder!

Glad you are liking the design on your iPad. That was the idea–to make the site readable on all devices. Mission Accomplished. :-)
