Prepare for some high octane, beautifully shot, and impeccably acted drama, you lucky people!

ZeroZeroZero, the 8-episode series based on Roberto Saviano’s best-selling and hyper-real look at the world of cocaine smuggling, hits your screens on Thursday, February 4, on Sky Atlantic.

Directed by Stefano Sollima (Gomorrah, Sicario: Day of the Soldado) and Janus Metz (True Detective, currently filming All the Old Knives), the series takes you on a global tour of all the most fashionable–and scary–places in which drug makers, drug brokers, and drug runners hang out: Mexico, New Orleans, an ocean or two, Italy, Morocco, and Senegal.

Gabriel Byrne, Andrea Riseborough, and Dane DeHaan form the core ensemble of players, and they are just that–the central family that gets the story flowing. Harold Torres is a stand-out thrill as the Mexican sergeant who takes a proactive shot at changing the status quo and Adriano Chiaramida is indelible as the aged but relentless mafia Don, intent on keeping his family in this dangerous game.

This is intense drama on a global scale, with cinematography that will take your breath away and music by Mogwai that keeps your heart beating throughout the twist and turns of this complicated story.
